    Simplified Claim Process - Cyclone Remal

    Documentation requirement for processing Claims:

    • Claimant Statement form or written intimation from claimant mentioning policy details and date of death
    • Death certificate issued by Municipal Corporation / local authorities. In absence of the same, following documents can be submitted:
    • Report issued by Police authorities / Report issued by armed forces or confirmation of death issued by Local Government
    • Nominee Identity proof, Residence proof, and account details – Cancelled cheque / Copy of bank passbook
    • On a case-to-case basis additional documents can be called for if required

    Note: In case of such a situation where even the nominee has died, claim intimation can be done by third-party, however, claim proceeds can only go to designated legal heir of the deceased life assured
