Lucknow: The Lucknow leg of the PNB MetLife Junior Badminton Championship (JBC) – 5 concluded today at Babu Banarasi Das U.P. Badminton Academy Near Lohia Park, Vipin Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, bringing out top shuttlers from the city.

The winners were felicitated by Dr. Navneet Sehgal, President, Uttar Pradesh Badminton Association; Arun Kakkar, General Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Badminton Association; Sudharma Singh, Treasure, Uttar Pradesh Badminton Association and Dr. Yogesh Shetty, Head Physio, Uttar Pradesh Badminton Association.

In the Boys Singles U-17 category, Akash Singh from BBD Badminton Academy defeated Yeshbardhan from Satyasai prep public school with score 15-5 9-15 15-7. In the Girls Singles U-17 category, Sania Joshi from JSA Badminton Acadmey, Kota defeated Kavya Kushwaha from Lucknow Montessori School with score 15-12 15-14.
