MetLife Group Accidental Permanent & Partial Disability Plus

MetLife Group Accidental Permanent & Partial Disability Plus is a flexible rider that allows you to choose from Half Yearly, Quarterly or Monthly premium payments to ensure a stable life for you and your family.

As per the prevailing tax laws, this rider gives you the advantage of availing Tax Benefits on both premiums paid and Benefits received.

On consent of the Company, the Life Insured can renew this rider every year along with the Base Plan on the Annual Renewal Date as mentioned in the schedule.

With this plan, you don’t have to worry about fluctuating rates as they are fixed for a period of one year. 

Inhaling any gas or fumes, accidentally or otherwise, except accidentally in the course of duty will not be covered under this rider.

Benefits are not payable upon member participation in any flying activity, other than as a passenger in a commercially licensed aircraft.

Alcohol or Solvent abuse or taking of Drugs, narcotics or psychotropic substances unless taken in accordance with the lawful directions and prescription of a registered medical practitioner are not covered.

Benefits will not be payable for any injury which is deemed intentional of self-inflicted under this rider. 

If the Life Assured’s death is due to suicide within twelve months from the date of commencement of risk or from the Date of Revival of the Policy as applicable, the Nominee or beneficiary of the Policyholder shall be entitled to 80% of the total Premium paid till the date of death under the Policy death or Surrender Value available as on the date of death, whichever is higher, provided the Policy is in Inforce status. We shall not be liable to pay any interest on this amount.
